Homesteads Tower Museum. Constructed in the 1930s, the
tower was used as administrative offices for the
Cumberland Homesteads. Museum collection includes photos,
documents and artifacts from the 30s and 40s, when the
community was developing. The lookout platform at the top
of the tower provides views of most of the original 252
farmsteads.
Cookeville Depot Museum. Museum includes Tennessee Central
Railway artifacts as well as a replica of Cookeville’s
west side during the 1950s. Grounds house a 1913 Baldwin
steam engine, two small track cars, 1920s classic red
caboose and a 1960s caboose.
