Please review before your stay
These Park Rules & Regulations are adopted to ensure the safety, enjoyment, and orderly operation of Davy Crockett Campground. All guests, occupants, and visitors are required to comply with these rules at all times. Failure to comply may result in termination of the campground license without refund.
Campsite & Cabin Stays (Daily / Weekly)
For reservations made 61+ days prior to arrival, a 50% deposit is due at booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. Reservations made 60 days or less prior to arrival must be paid in full at booking.
- Cancellations 61+ days prior to arrival: deposit refund minus a $25 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations 60–14 days prior: 50% refund of total reservation cost.
- Cancellations 13–4 days prior: 25% refund.
- Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival, no-shows, and early departures are non-refundable.
Campsite & Cabin Stays (Monthly)
One month’s fee is due at booking as a non-refundable reservation deposit and will be applied to the first month of the stay.
For cabin stays of 30 nights or more, a one-month security deposit is collected at check-in and returned upon check-out if no damage has been assessed.
A refundable electric deposit of $350 is collected at check-in for all monthly guests. The final meter reading at check-out is deducted from your deposit. Electricity is charged at $17 plus $0.14669 per kilowatt-hour and is read monthly on the 20th.
Monthly fees are due on the 1st of every month. Payments received on or after the 6th incur a 10% late fee. If payment is not received in full by the 10th, the guest is subject to eviction. Monthly license agreements must be executed on the 1st of the month; if unsigned on or after the 6th, a $10 daily fee applies for every day the paperwork is unsigned.
Returned checks are charged a $35 handling fee in addition to any late fees.
Rates and fees are subject to change. Confirmed reservations will be honored at the rate quoted at the time of booking.
Management reserves the right to reassign sites as necessary for operational or safety reasons.

Late departures must be approved and will result in a $50 per hour late check-out fee. Early check-in is $50 and is subject to availability.
- A valid photo ID is required for all adults age 18 and older at check-in.
- All IDs will be copied for campground records and held within your reservation.
For monthly stays, we require to be added as an additional insured on your insurance policy, or you must show us active coverage on a monthly basis. This must be received prior to your arrival.
- A background check must be provided prior to confirmation booking.
- A valid ID.
- A signed copy of the Campground License Agreement.
- A copy of your current RV insurance.
Office & Camp Store Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (subject to change)
Quiet Hours: 7 days/week, 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Excessive noise at any time is prohibited.
- Noise should not be heard outside of the reserved site. If we are called to your site after hours for a noise complaint, a fee of $50 will be charged per offense.
- Generators are prohibited.
- Campsites must be kept clean, orderly, clutter-free, and free of trash and tarps.
- Complimentary trash pickup is provided on Sundays only for bags that fit in the trash can. Trash that’s too heavy or piled outside the can will not be picked up. Outside of Sunday pickup, you are responsible for taking trash to the dumpsters. Trash cannot be left out on the site.
- No political flags are allowed to be flown or hung.
- All plants must be potted. Pots are limited to a maximum of 5 per site. Nothing is allowed to be planted in the ground.
- The only fences allowed are small, portable pet enclosures.
- All sheds must have written approval from management.
- Foam or reflective insulation on the base of any camper or RV is not permitted. All skirting must be black or tan in color and nylon or vinyl in fabrication.
- No modifications to structures, landscaping, or sites without written approval.
- Nothing shall be attached, hung, or displayed in any tree (unless otherwise approved).
- No clotheslines, appliances, indoor furniture, or storage items are permitted outside.
- Campground dumpsters are for household trash only. Bulk items must be disposed of off-site.
- No wood, lumber, or trees are to be chopped or picked up on the property unless within your direct campsite. (Firewood is available for sale in the general store.)
- For cabins: no rearranging of furniture.
- For cabins: no storage on decks or porches.
- Any site or cabin out of compliance with these standards will incur a $10 daily fee until corrected.
The following conduct will lead to immediate cancellation of your reservation. All deposits will be forfeited and no refunds will be issued. In extreme cases upon inspection from the management team, fines will be issued or police will be called to escort you off the property. A $100 fine will be charged for all after-hours calls to your campsite due to complaints or any non-emergency.
The following is not permitted:
- Violence, threats of violence, disruptive behavior, or loud, obnoxious, disorderly, or unlawful actions that interfere with the rights, comfort, or convenience of others.
- Display, discharge, or possession of a gun, explosives, fireworks, knife, or other weapon.
- The possession, sale, or manufacture of illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia.
- Over-consumption of alcohol that causes loud, obnoxious, disorderly, or unlawful conduct.
- The operation of a business in the campground that entails visits to an RV by customers or a delivery person.
During severe weather, guests should proceed to the first floor of Trails End Restaurant for shelter.
- Pool and hot tub are seasonal (opening and closing dates weather-dependent).
- Hours: 7 days a week, 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
- No glass is permitted in pool or hot tub areas.
- Children 14 and under must be supervised by an adult in the pool.
- Children 14 and under must be supervised by an adult in the hot tub.
- Children not potty-trained must wear swim diapers.
- No pets allowed in the pool or hot tub area.
- No running on the pool deck.
- No swimming, boating, or water toys are permitted in Cherokee Lake.
- No dogs in the lake.
- No walking on the lake when iced over.
- Catch-and-release fishing only.
- The only pets allowed at the campground are dogs and cats.
- All pets must be leashed and supervised at all times — even within a fenced-in area at your site — and cleaned up after immediately.
- Excessive barking or aggressive behavior is not permitted.
- Maximum of 4 pets per site.
Rental Cabins & Lodge
- Pet fee: $25/night per pet, or $150 per month.
- Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage, accidents, or excessive cleaning required.
- Dogs cannot be left unattended in the cabin or lodge.
- Excessive pet hair may result in an additional cleaning fee.
- A monthly fee of $10 will be applied to all golf carts on the grounds.
- A daily fee of $5 will be applied to golf carts staying daily/weekly.
- Golf carts must be registered with management and display a current registration sticker.
- Proof of personal liability insurance and passenger insurance is required.
- ATVs, dirt bikes, and mopeds are prohibited on the grounds.
Management reserves the right to interpret, enforce, and modify these rules.
Intermittent inspections will be performed to ensure rules are being followed.
Violations may result in:
- Warnings.
- Immediate termination of campground license.
- Removal from the property without refund.
- Removal of water and electric utilities access.
All guests staying monthly must maintain a separate legal and permanent residence elsewhere.
The campground may not be used as a primary residence or legal address for any purpose, including but not limited to mail delivery, voter registration, driver’s license, tax filings, or government benefits.
Eviction will be processed for any guest that violates this policy.
General (All Amenities)
- Amenities are for registered guests only.
- Use is at your own risk. No lifeguards or attendants are on duty.
- Guests must supervise children at all times.
- No glass containers, alcohol, drugs, or unsafe behavior.
- Campground is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
- Management may close amenities at any time for maintenance, weather, safety, or events.
Basketball Court
- Use during posted or daylight hours only.
- No hanging on rims, dunking, or misuse of equipment.
- No rough play, fighting, or profanity.
- Proper footwear required.
- Children 14 and under must be supervised by an adult.
Playground
- Intended for children only.
- Adult supervision is required at all times.
- Use equipment as intended.
- No climbing on non-play structures.
- Playground may be closed during wet conditions or maintenance.
Community Showers
- Showers are for registered guests only.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- No loitering, sleeping, or personal-item storage.
- No washing of dishes, clothing, or pets.
- Please clean up after use and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Management reserves the right to limit access for misuse or sanitation concerns.
Your RV must be 10 years old or newer and in clean working condition. Exceptions may be granted with written approval upon inspection or submitted photos.
The primary guest assumes all liability for all of their guests, children, property, and pets.
Davy Crockett Campground assumes no liability.
Each site is allowed 1 RV, 2 adults, 2 children, 2 vehicles, and up to 4 total pets (cats or dogs).
A maximum of 3 vehicles are allowed on each site/cabin (cars, trucks, trailers, motorcycles) for an additional fee.
Additional monthly fees per item:
- Trailers: $50
- Boats: $50
- Adults: $50
- Children: $25
- Golf carts: $10
- Vehicles: $50
- Motorcycles: $50
All additional items must be approved and parked within your site.
By entering the campground, all guests acknowledge and agree to comply with these rules as a condition of occupancy.
