Our Dog Mission
On a Mission to Rescue 100,000 Dogs from Animal Shelters
Why Dogs Matter to Us
We believe every dog deserves a loving home, a warm bed, and a family that shows up for them every single day. That belief is not a slogan on a wall, it is the reason we bought this campground.
When we looked at Davy Crockett Campground, we did not just see RV sites and cabins. We saw a place where families come together, and for us, family includes the four-legged members. The ones who ride shotgun in the truck, stick their heads out the window the whole drive down, and are the first ones out the door when you pull into your site.
Too many campgrounds treat dogs like an inconvenience. Extra fees, breed bans, weight limits, as if your 80-pound lab who just wants to swim in the lake is some kind of problem. Not here. Your dog is not just tolerated at Davy Crockett. Your dog is welcome.
And that is just the beginning. We are building something bigger than a dog-friendly RV park. We are building a movement, one that puts real numbers behind a mission to get 100,000 dogs out of shelters and into homes.
